Having said that, what I truly love about Drone racing is the fact it takes us to amazing places where you have the opportunity to meet even more amazing people.
So you're thinking why has Paul posted a picture of Ferrero Rocher's . . well these are a gift for Thomas for winning the Aussie Open, but what's more amazing is who it came from . . . . it's from the Host of our AirBnB Loc. Just an amazing person who has been so thoughtful and so helpful.
Before heading to Sydney we were looking at trying to get Lipo Packs here and it meant getting them expressed over to Sydney. I asked Loc if I could send them to his Airbnb, and he was perfectly fine with it and offered to pick them up from Australia Post. Then when we got here, he asked where my wife was and I told him She was catching a flight in from Melbourne on Friday. He asked how she would get to the the AirBnB and I told him she would use Uber. He insisted there was no need for Uber and he ended up picking her up from the Airport and brought her home. Now he gives Thomas these Chocolates for winning the Aussie Open.
As much as winning the Aussie Open is amazing, meeting people and making those connections in life is what it's all about. If you're ever needing to stay in Sydney you won't go wrong with Loc. I have no idea if he has Instagram or not, but thanks buddy!
