This is the HUGE moment for me. I am honored to work with the boys at Switchback and Salomon, I built my first drone years ago with the goal of chasing my skiier and mountain biker friends down the slopes. As you all know, it's taken me down an incredible path of competition and freestyle. But to have the chance to do what I started it all for, and with the best of the best in the ski world. I'm just in awe. What's better than the opportunity to do one of your life passions? Doing two of them together!! #Repost @salomonfreeski ・・・ With less than 2 months from the start of winter in the northern hemisphere, it's time to get fired up! In this season of #SalomonTV we will visit British Columbia, Tibet, Georgia, Utah, Italy, France, Austria, and Switzerland. Get ready. It's going to be a fun ride!⛷❄️ . More tall trees!!! I really wish this spot was my backyard, oh wait. It kinda is 😊
One of the best parts of the PNW? Mountains covered in giant evergreens. It gives a nice variation to every flight, you can fly up a mountain, drop a huge cliff, scrape along a talus field, then freestyle a massive pines. All in one battery. What more could you ask for???
Oh yes! It's been a while since so did normal "park flying" freestyle. How I miss it. Just smashing and bashing about without fear of losing my quad and gopro.
If you didn't see my newest YouTube video, remember to check it out, link to my channels in my bio. If you're not already subscribed, definitely do that. I'll be busting out more videos now that the DRL season is over. A mix of both flying, gear reviews, and general adventure shenanigans.
A break in the clouds, but not enough time to fly. It might look clear for a minute, but then the next minute you're engulfed in white. Flying long range with changing weather is never a good idea. Unless you want to lose your gear. The rainy 4 mile hike up here was beautiful. But despite waiting an hour in the drizzle, the sun didn't want to poke its head out. We'll be back to conquer you some other day.
Hey there little marmot buddy. You like hanging in rain clouds too?
The best track we've ever races on @thedroneracingleague starts right NOW on ESPN2!!! Tune in to Level 3 Biosphere2!!
Who's excited for ski season????? I can't wait! Got my seasons pass, now it's time to get that stoke level up
I rarely ever post pictures of my self, after some long discussions, I've figured its because I've grown up behind the camera. I've always been the one taking the photos. My camera is MY point of view, MY perspective and it's always been a strange notion to me to point the camera at my self. Here's to breaking down new barriers. Let me know if you like seeing my feed mixed up with more 3rd person perspectives. ... 📷: @alysonmon
It's happening!!!! The best track that has ever come to DRL. Biosphere 2 coming to ESPN2 this Thursday at 10pm EST. It's going to be so goooooddd @thedroneracingleague #DRL
Get out there any explore!!! I hear too often "there's nothing cool around where I live" and that's absolutely never true. There's incredible nature and more, no matter where you are. You just have to be willing to spend the time to find it. When I go out to fly, I probably spend twice as much time in my car just exploring back roads than I do actually flyings. If you cant drive? Grab a bike! If you can't bike? Start walking! No one's going to bring the cool stuff to you, you have to go get it!
