Getting some practice in at day 1 of MultiGP IO. Course is fast and these new rigs rip! Got through maidening my 3 new quads today during practice. I'm super stoked about how it flies. Ended up testing the runcam Sparrow 2 Pro with 1.8mm lens thanks to HeliNation. And yup, I should have listened to @_furadi_ the picture on it is incredible, especially with the HDOs. No more squinting to see the gates.
One of those wow moments. I love being back in the PNW, it's an incredibly beautiful part of the world. Just after take off, heading to MultigGP IO, I had a double take moment looking out the window. The morning fog was creeping it's way between the mountain. Shortly after I took this picture it started dissipating.
🎶3, that's the magic number, yes it is! That's the magic number 🎶
I love my sponsors! Each and every one of you are awesome. Thank you thank you. I'm working on building my race quads for the up come MultiGP IO event in Muncie, and just got back yesterday from my travels on the other side of the pond. Guess what was waiting for me? PARTSSSSS!!! @hobbywingtechnology hooking it up with mad amounts of electronics, from the new G2 stack to Race Pro 2207 1750kv motors. @blacksheepfpv with the radio setup, with the Unify Pro HV and the Nano Crossfire RX. @azure.power with the props as usual. @teamspektrumfpv with Runcam Swift 2 Team Spektrum Editions cameras. Last but not least, the frame: the new DB5 from my buddy @dunkan_bossion
What a beautiful place, mountain after mountain, after mountain. This is from our trip to Dent d'Oche. The view from the top was absolutely worth the slow, but steady hike. Wouldn't you agree?
Today was another grueling day of hiking, we hopped the border to France, and climbed to the top of Dent d'Oche with an elevation gain of roughly 3,300ft. Saying my legs are sore would be a massive understatement. We tried to get some flying in toward the end of the long day, but as we had just finished out our first packs a thunderstorm quickly formed and we ended up having to scurry down the mountain, before getting soaked by the impending rain. All in all it was a good day. Also, here's a pic of @nurkfpv looking like a badass on our down climb from the peak.
Moo 🐂
These really are some pretty places. Probably the best introduction I could have ever dreamed of for Switzerland. Here's a quick first scouting pack.
When wildlife attacks!!! This little sheepie just wanted to hang out. Came and gave us a snuggle, and stayed with us for the entire flying session.
After an incredible week in Germany for DRL, I hopped on over to Switzerland to spend a few days with the master of long range @gab707_fpv on our first day @nurkfpv gab and I hiked thousands of feet in elevation gain to this beautiful ridge line. And well, there's also an awesome mountain above this ridge to be flown of course! Here gab takes off to show us how it's done.
Some incredibly beautiful BMW i8s hanging around a racing gate. This is a next level track!! #DRLxBMW @thedroneracingleague @bmwwelt
