For the past few weeks I’ve been building a drone that can carry some bigger cameras. My goal is to bring FPV videography to the more ‘traditional’ commercial film world, and a lot of the time GoPros just don’t cut it. I first tried doing this about a year ago, but pretty quickly gave up as it was proving to be extremely difficult. The extra weight of the cameras and lenses is a nightmare when trying to achieve smooth video. Now I’m putting some serious time into this project, and while it’s far from perfect, starting to see some awesome results. #airvuz #videography #cinematography #futaba #hobbywing

⛷@Flopreussskiing rocking the upper section at @audinines. I’m seriously missing this right now!! Need some more action to film. Hit me up if you want something shot with the most dynamic flying camera in the world🚁 . This is also the first time I’ve stabilized footage with @reelsteady. It took a frustratingly long time to edit this clip, but I’m pretty happy with the results. The software smooths out some rough transitions when going from shot to shot before I can lock into my angle. I’m hoping I’ll be able to take some already sick clips to the next level with this in the future. Last month I spent 5 days in the Dominican Republic with @djiglobal, @sam_kolder, @chelseakauai, @kylormelton, @thecolindougan, and @jbxcreative. I was basically given the freedom to try and capture whatever we were doing in the way I saw fit. Racing drone style. Working alongside the legends tagged above was insanely inspiring and an incredible learning experience.
