Yuuus! RV passed smog today and is fully plated! Now down to getting the solar installed and a few small repairs. It's been a long road to get to this point and had many moments of doubt/hardship along the way, though its finally working itself out and the last major hurdle is passed. Now time to do a victory lap and finish this solar system! I just took my first hot shower in the RV. With more water pressure than my old apartment due to the upgraded pump and new low pressure shower head. Tomorrow this RV gets smogged now that its run 40 miles today with zero issues and the radiator fix is holding true, with DMV scheduled Friday. And hopefully solar this weekend?! Right in time for the MDRS trip. For those that dont know, this is the Re-cycle Garage logo tatted to my arm(from my time of breaking things in their garage). They're all about getting motorcyclees back on the road and running again. All these years later and the ethos behind it still lives on in almost everything I do. This tattoo oddly feels more fitting now than ever, even if I still cant ride anymore. Thank you Liza for the inspiration still to this day. I've learned a lot about this RV. While I havent been able to work on it directly I've watched the work that has been done and have had a crash course on the systems of the RV over the last few months. Have learned a lot, and am sure will learn plenty more as time goes on. Huge thanks to RV Depot for the hookup and quick fix today. I'll be back for some future fixes outside of my ability. The best drone workbench is one that travels with you. Testing out the radiator replacement that Kent helped sort out while going to get the Hot Water Heater fixed at a local RV place. So far so good! Today should hopefully mark the end of the major repairs and the start of installing the inverter and solar charge controller. Confirmed. You can VR within an RV. Finally getting back to a bit of Beat Saber on Epxert+ I missed this so much... I was doing a near daily hour of it before moving out of my old shop. It's weird pulling the goggles off from seeing a huge virtual world and being inside of a tin can. My life has become a weird mix of the Last Starfighter and Ready Player One. RV Update. Radiator is finished, $450 later. Mechanically the RV should be sound now thanks to Kent West. Last bits to do before its 100% road worthy this week, including an initial test while getting the Hot Water heater fixed at a local shop. Inverter and solar charge controller should be here today. Still trying to sort out panels, and getting them all installed. Dont think I can physically tackle that yet. So close to getting the RV sorted. Woke up motivated in a way I havent felt before. Motivated to make positive life choices. Motivated to get this RV done. Motivated to go to Mars and fly some drones with my earth based space ship. 3000w Inverter & 60amp Solar Charge Controller are on their way. Hunting down 1600w of solar panels is the next step. Have a list to get done. I have faith I'll find my way. I know what I must do to be successful, and a plan to do it. I want to aspire to more in life- and to make a true difference in the world.
