First day of racing complete! Took 4th during the Ultimate Class race, putting down the second fastest lap (7ish seconds) just a few miliseconds off the fastest lap! Ended up blowing out my FC mid-air during the mains, and had to switch to a backup setup for the finals which threw me off haha, but still sent it :D Thanks @chinahobbyline for the go-go juice, and @foxeer.tech for the cameras- huge shout-out to Armattan for helping me get my butt to Mars, thank you again :D and Dysonain for all the work and help on the larger rigs. Ya'll are the air beneath my wings, thank you again for making it possible!
Still trying to figure out what's going on with the FAI race/qualifiers. Been asking everyone, and nobody seams to have an answer for me. Beside the X Class racing on Saturday at Noon, the FAI race is the only other event I really care about at IO.
Turning in early at the Days Inn hotel tonight, missing out on some tiny whoop fun... Haha, some painful muscle spazams, had to tap out and get some R&R, gonna be a long weekend!
